Commarc is a Christchurch-based IT company. Led by Creative Director Craig Brown, I developed the website design across multiple pages, exploring layouts and refining the details throughout.
The visual language draws from familiar elements of computing. Images resolve from pixels into focus as users interact with the site, echoing the process of diagnosing and maintaining technology. Enlarged pixel icons and detailed ASCII art carry the idea through the graphics, while draggable Finder-style windows turn news articles into something visitors can explore.
The result is a digital identity that stands out in a sector where competitors often blur together through similar visual language and colour palettes.
