Caldera Estate’s website was designed as a journey through the property and its remarkable setting in Akaroa. Led by Creative Director Craig Brown, I developed the design across multiple pages, exploring page layouts and refining the details throughout.
Large typography, full-screen imagery and smaller detail shots establish a varied pace. Generous white space gives the content room to breathe, while parallax and horizontal scrolling bring movement to the experience. An interactive 3D map places Caldera Estate within the Akaroa landscape. Together, these elements give each page its own way of engaging the visitor while reflecting the sense of escapism Caldera Estate offers.
